May gallery & residency revitalizes vacant Arts District space

May is pleased to announce the reopening of its galleries in a new space located at 750 Carondelet St. in Downtown New Orleans. The contemporary arts gallery, formerly located in the Upper 9th Ward, now occupies 5000 square feet in two rooms of the former Florists’ Transworld Delivery building at the corner of Carondelet and Julia streets, placing it at a key intersection along the city’s major arts corridor.

May’s reopening, which is Saturday, from 5 – 9pm will coincide with the opening of Dave Greber’s “Trail Magique,” an immersive exhibition that reflects an interest in-or desire to bypass-lengthy spiritual or literal pilgrimages as a catalyst for inner growth or easy satisfaction.
