Ryan King is a multi-faceted legal and policy professional with experience as a practicing attorney, engineer, entrepreneur, and business owner. He leverages this expertise to provide strategic counsel and lead regulatory affairs for organizations in the utilities and energy sector.
Ryan currently serves as Delta Utilities’ Chief Regulatory and Growth Strategy Officer, where he leads all regulatory and public affairs activities for the organization. This includes overseeing engagement with various regulatory agencies, such as the New Orleans City Council, and driving efforts toward successful and effective regulatory outcomes.
Ryan previously served as General Counsel for National Water Infrastructure, one of the largest privately-owned sewer utility companies in Louisiana. In this role, Ryan led all regulatory and engagement activities that led to NWI’s successful purchase of Ascension Parish’s sewer assets. Under his leadership, NWI received overwhelming voter approval on the sale in 2021, followed by unanimous approvals from both the Ascension Parish Council and the Louisiana Public Service Commission.
He received his J.D. from Louisiana State University, where he also received his B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is a Louisiana State Bar Association member.
