Did you know that you can have an immediate effect on crime? The City of New Orleans has two programs that utilize outdoor security cameras on your building to provide video to the New Orleans Police Department.
SafeCam NOLA allows you to register your existing cameras with NOPD. In the event of an incident in your area, NOPD may contact you and request footage from your feed.
SafeCam Platinum allows property owners with compatible camera systems to share the footage directly with the City’s Real-Time Crime Center. The DDD has invested in the SafeCam program since 2016.
