Congrats to the DDD’s 2014 Downtown NOLA Arts-Based Business Pitch Winners Where Y’Art for being selected as one of eight local startups competing for a $100,000 investment from America Online co-founder Steve Case on May 8. The competition is part of a five-city tour called “Rise of the Rest” this spring in partnership with Google for Entrepreneurs and UP Global. The competition will be held at the New Orleans Jazz Market at 1436 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. It is part of a series of events that will take place throughout the city.
