The City of New Orleans recently approved a temporary two-way traffic reconfiguration of O’Keefe Avenue due to the partial collapse of the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities building in December 2024. This reconfiguration was fully implemented as of last week.
Access to all area businesses and properties remains open, and the City, DDD, StayLocal, LEH, and our many partners encourage the public to support businesses in the area.
The City and its partners are working to minimize the impact of this road reconfiguration on area businesses and property owners, and to reopen O’Keefe Avenue to through-traffic as soon as the LEH building has been stabilized.
