New Orleans Glassworks

For 20 years, the New Orleans GlassWorks & Printmaking Studio has been the largest facility of its kind in the entire South, providing FREE daily breathtaking demonstrations allowing visitors to engage with the artists in the glass blowing arena, torchworking workshop, & printmaking studio. Twice featured on the NBC Today show for the TWO-HOUR WALK-IN courses that let visitors design and make their own glass paperweight or glasses, or experience torchworking by making a or glass sea-creature or pendant. The studio also provides opportunities for metal sculpture, copper enameling, printmaking, screen-printing, letterpress & paper marbling, as well as bookbinding. Guests can arrange workshops & experience hands-on tours. The New Orleans GlassWorks & Printmaking Studio is ideal for group receptions with live artist demonstrations! The New Orleans ArtWorks at the New Orleans GlassWorks & Printmaking Studio is located in the heart of the Arts District only 3 blocks downtown from the National World War II Museum. The spacious, sky-lit historic brick building houses a front room gallery which exhibits designs created by the local, New Orleans craftsmen and visiting, international artisans who work as a team in the adjoining, two-story working studios.
