Adjacent to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, the Smoothie King Center is the largest state-of-the-art venue of its size in the region and has been a catalyst for live entertainment development in the area. As home of the New Orleans Pelicans, the Smoothie King Center has helped to anchor the sports complex and provide enhanced event programming and opportunities for the City and State. In addition to playing host to some of the world’s largest musical acts, the Center has hosted several collegiate basketball events including both Men’s and Women’s NCAA Regional Tournament, as well as Women’s Final Four. The Smoothie King Center has hosted the NBA All-star Game a total of 3 times and continues to draw major special events to the city.
