Since its opening in 2010, Champions Square has become one of the city’s most popular entertainment venues for corporate events, festivals, and concerts. During football season it is “the” place to party before a Saints game. The theme “champions” was derived from the Superdome’s long history of hosting championships, and the Square features iconic images from the famed building’s storied history. Champions Square also plays host to many outdoor concerts during the spring, summer, and fall months, as well numerous local festivals like Boudin, Bourbon & Beer and King Cake Festival.
