On Tuesday, October 21, join Downtown Development District at Legacy Park (730 Baronne Street) for National Night Out—
our city’s annual celebration of police contributions and community partnerships.
This fun, free, family-friendly event invites New Orleans residents to eat, drink, and meet face-to-face with the law enforcement officials who work each day to keep Downtown New Orleans safe, including officers and representatives from the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), the Tulane University Police Department (TUPD), the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD), and New Orleans Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
The celebration will also feature live entertainment, light bites from Downtown vendors, locally sourced refreshments, and the opportunity to meet with the 8th District officers and discuss Downtown topics with DDD staff.
The best part? DDD’s 2025 National Night Out is tailgate themed! Throw on your favorite team’s jersey and join us for some festive fall fun and earn the chance to win football-related prizes.
