The Canal Street building that once housed the Pickwick Social Club will reopen in 2018 as a hostel, with a mix of low-cost shared rooms and private rooms, a café and community meeting space.
HI USA operates more than 50 hostels in cities nationwide with a focus on promoting the educational benefits of travel, particularly for young people. One of its key initiatives is a competitive scholarship program that helps young people travel.
