Melvin White is one of our veteran Public Safety Rangers. For nearly 16 years, Melvin has provided help to people representing all facets of our community, from stakeholders with quality of life concerns, to tourists looking for directions, even to the Homeless of our City looking for housing and job placement assistance. As resident Bicycle Safety instructor, Melvin has trained nearly 75% of our current Ranger staff. He is also one of eleven Rangers who assists Unity with their annual, “Point in Time” homelessness survey on the streets of New Orleans. Click here for more about DDD Public Safety Team.
