The DDD Leading Minds Breakfast featured Downtown Detroit Partnership CEO Eric Larson. 80 stakeholders, including Downtown residents as well as those in the field of architecture and real estate development turned out to learn more about the “Real Estate Value & Quality of Life Impacts of a Downtown Park.”
The DDP is the managing organization of Campus Martius Park, a popular redeveloped public space in the heart of downtown. As part of Larson’s presentation, he discussed the incredible transformation of downtown Detroit and the positive economic impact the park has brought to the center of the city.
“Our mission is to build on Downtown New Orleans’ great progress and we believe one step in that effort is to create more parks and open space,” said DDD President & CEO Kurt Weigle. “It has been proven that urban parks can generate significant social and economic value and Campus Martius Park is great evidence of this.”
