Downtown Development District released its Q4 2023 Market Report earlier this week. The report provides an up-to-date assessment and data-driven analysis of the economic vitality of Downtown New Orleans.
The publication takes a deep dive into the story of Downtown New Orleans throughout October, November, and December 2023, highlighting the footprint of significant celebrations like Halloween and analyzing the economic impact of the holiday season. Additionally, it shares successes and statistics from the year in the DDD Operations Department and provides an update on new openings and active developments Downtown.
The report also features the first-ever “Tech and Innovation” section to track the continued growth of this burgeoning industry and introduce readers to the entrepreneurial leaders driving the sector’s growth in the neighborhood.
DDD President & CEO Davon Barbour notes in his opening message that the close of Q4 welcomes the opportunity to look ahead to the future of Downtown New Orleans in the new year. “The end of 2023 and the start of 2024 bring a renewed focus and sustained sense of urgency for DDD as we embark on ambitious projects and partnerships to jump-start infrastructure projects, foster innovation, and leverage our sense of place and unique identity to cultivate a compelling address,” Barbour shares.
