All of us here at the DDD would like to congratulate NOPD Officers Aaron Harrelson and Sasha Skipper, two recent graduates of the NOPD Recruit Class #170. Both officers are former outstanding DDD Public Safety Rangers who share a commitment to public service and exemplary leadership skills. “Several years ago, when we transitioned what was then the DDD Hospitality Rangers to the Public Safety Ranger program of today, our expectation was that the program would attract a workforce interested in public safety as well as the hospitality function which still exists,” said DDD President & CEO Kurt Weigle. “One of the measures of this and the program’s success is how many Rangers make the leap to professional law enforcement.
