DDD & NEW ORLEANS CHAMBER CELEBRATE DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES

On Wednesday morning, March 27th, DDD and the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce joined to recognize local business milestones in the Downtown Development District.

These celebrations are part of the organizations’ monthly Ribbon Cutting ceremonies—where we come together to celebrate business openings, re-openings, anniversaries, and more to promote the unique establishments that make Downtown New Orleans the vibrant community it is.

This month, we celebrated the grand reopening of Iron Tribe Fitness (740 Julia Street) and the grand opening of Zack Smith Photography (835 Julia St. Unit A)—two businesses now based on Julia Street Downtown.

Iron Tribe Fitness is a member-based gym with a ten-year history in New Orleans. Their grand reopening celebrates the introduction of new leadership and a new location at 740 Julia Street. Specializing in group fitness classes and semi-private personal training, Iron Tribe Fitness is a gym run by normal people, for normal people.

Zack Smith Photography is a full-service photography and video branding service company that specializes in telling the stories of the region’s businesses in a creative and compelling way. Its new studio location on Julia Street represents an exciting new chapter for the business as it continues to capture Louisiana’s social and cultural landscape from the heart of the DDD.

DDD and the New Orleans Chamber are honored to have been part of recognizing these Downtown businesses and their impressive respective achievements. We look forward to the impact their contributions—both continued and new—will have on our Downtown community and its lively network of locally beloved establishments.
