The Downtown Development District continues to monitor and prepare for the possible impact of Tropical Storm Sally. According to the National Weather Service, heavy rain and winds could affect the area. Currently, DDD Operations including the Clean Team and Public Safety Crew, which includes NOPD Detail, Private Security and Public Safety Rangers, are functioning as normal. DDD Public Safety and Clean Team will continue to operate as long as weather permits and are prepared to assist with post-storm response. The DDD will add additional resources as needed.
