The DDD is coordinating with the Department of Sanitation to clean up after the biggest party in New Orleans. 2 – 4 times the normal staffing levels have been added to the DDD Clean Team in order to keep shifts of workers on the streets of Downtown for morning, afternoon, night and post-parade shifts. In addition, we will deploy a pressure washing unit to address hotspots and heavy pedestrian areas. We will put protective fencing along Canal St. neutral grounds and St. Charles Gateway at Calliope.
