Many Louisiana classrooms are underwater. Each year, teachers spend at least $200.00 to $300.00 of their own money towards school supplies for their classroom. Many of these teachers had just purchased their school supplies when disaster hit, destroying countless boxes of tissues, markers, poster board and chalk.

The Associated Professional Educators of Louisiana (A+PEL) has already received 427 individual requests from teachers whose school supplies were flooded. This number will only grow.

A few days ago, International School of Louisiana get valacyclovir prescription online teacher and artist Devin De Wulf was inspired to paint Louisiana: People Stronger Than Water.

Where Y’Art and Devin De Wulf will now produce prints of Louisiana: People Stronger Than Water to raise money for teachers. 100% of proceeds from sales of these prints, and the painting itself, will be donated to A+PEL’s efforts to help teachers replenish supplies. Prints begin at $35.00 and the original painting is available for $350.00. Both can be purchased through Whereyart.net.
