Algiers Point/Canal Street Ferry extends hours as part of a four-month trial by RTA

ferry_pic_armiger-1406928664The New Orleans Regional Transit Authorityannounced the change this week, which is set to go into effect Monday and last through Feb. 12. According to the RTA, two additional hours have been added each Friday and four additional hours have been added each Saturday and Sunday. The trial is being conducted to help accommodate the needs of ferry passengers. Also, the extended hours on the Algiers Point/Canal Street Ferry will allow residents the opportunity to enjoy the events and festivals buy valacyclovir 1 gm planned for the holiday season.
– Friday: First ferry to depart Algiers Point at 6 a.m., last trip from Canal Street at 11:45 p.m.

 

– Saturday: First ferry to depart Algiers Point at 10:30 a.m., last trip from Canal Street at 11:45 p.m.
– Sunday: First ferry to depart Algiers Point at 10:30 a.m., last trip from Canal Street at 11:45 p.m.
The RTA said there are no changes to the Lower Algiers/Chalmette Ferry.
