The New Orleans City Council has declared September 7 as Geaux Blue NOLA Day in support of police officers who serve and protect the community. This is a day to express appreciation for law enforcement officers and work collaboratively to improve their practices and increase public safety.
Everyone is asked to participate by going blue! You can dress in blue, light up in blue, blue ribbons, hang blue wreaths…Show Your BLUE!
