MelissaGibbs with Gibbs Construction on why she made the move to Downtown and the Historic Picayune Place District:
“I fell in love with the architecture, the history, the walkability,” she said. “I just loved that people from all over the world would come to New Orleans to walk in my neighborhood.”
Looking for a change, she moved across Canal Street to Picayune Place. “This is one mile from my old house in the Quarter, but it’s like I moved to a different city,” Gibbs said. “It’s ground zero for everything here.”
