Skyla Gonzales joins DDD as an Economic Development Intern—assisting with project development, conducting site visits, and shadowing her colleagues as they undertake and represent projects within the District.
A rising senior at Morris Jeff Community High School, she plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration at a top-tier institution next year, with a long-term goal of earning her MBA.
Before her internship with DDD, Skyla gained valuable experience in guest engagement through her part-time role at Shake Shack and previous occupations. Now, she is eager to leverage her skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on Downtown New Orleans.
