A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Donald Clouse moved to New Orleans to join the New Orleans Police Department. After his service with NOPD’s Eight District, he joined the Downtown Development District’s public safety staff, where he has served as a Public Safety Ranger, Captain, and now Manager. As Public Safety Manager, he oversees a team of 25 Public Safety Rangers, 15 private security officers, and 40 NOPD detail officers.
Donald is a trained CPR instructor who certifies every Ranger on staff in First Aid & CPR and also volunteers for the Louisiana Museum Foundation and the New Orleans Jazz Museum in his spare time.
