The DDD is proud to sponsor LA Fête Louisiane, Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation’s: annual fundraising event. It celebrates our state’s diverse cultural industries and the people who keep our culture alive – chefs, musicians, filmmakers, craft artists, visual artists, writers, preservationists, cultural bearers and other creative people who give Louisiana its unique identity. This year, at LA Fête Louisiane, LCEF will present its second annual Culture Awards. The 2013 Culture Award winners include the 2013 Cultural Economy Hero award and three Entrepreneur Awards. The Cultural Economy Hero award is given to an individual or group who has had significant impact on the Louisiana cultural economy.
