Downtown Community Engagement Meeting –
Property Tax Increase for Infrastructure Funding Plan
Proposed by City of New Orleans.
Sewerage & Water Board Executive Director Ghassan Korban and City of New Orleans Deputy CAO for Infrastructure Ramsey Green will present to Downtown stakeholders and property owners the proposed Infrastructure & Funding Plan which includes an increase in the millage applied to Downtown property owners. This increase requires a vote by the DDD Board of Commissioners. As such, the Commissioners are providing this opportunity for Downtown property owners to learn more of the plan and provide feedback.
