The City of New Orleans has provided an update on preparations, parking instructions, traffic restrictions and safety regulations in place for the 2016 Mardi Gras season. Parades are scheduled to begin on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016.
To keep the residents and visitors fully informed, the City launched a Mardi Gras Information and Updates website at www.nola.gov/mardigras. The City compiled information regarding safety regulations, enforcement policies, permitting information and helpful suggestions, including interactive parade maps, in one location so that residents and visitors can be better prepared before heading out to the parades.
