Mr. Kelly is founder and owner of Port Cargo Service, LLC, which is a group of companies specializing in logistics. His companies perform duties such as public warehousing, contract warehousing, customs brokerage and freight forwarding, and are licensed by the London Metal Exchange, the New York Board of Trade, the Coffee, Sugar and Cocoa Exchange, U.S. Customs, the Federal Maritime Commission and the Louisiana State Board of Contractors. His operations include an ownership of over three million square feet of industrial warehouse space and are the largest of their kind in the South.
Additionally, Mr. Kelly’s construction company has taken on the challenge as a developer to restore or renovate several historical structures in New Orleans, including St. Charles Place, the Kupperman Warehouse, and the Houmas House.
Mr. Kelly serves as an advisory board member for the Trust of Public Lands, as a Heritage Club Member of the Preservation Resource Center, a Commissioner of the CBD Historic Districts Landmark Commission, and Chairman of the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities.
Mr. Kelly has a Bachelors of Business Management and Finance from Loyola University. He lives in Downtown New Orleans.
