Jade Brown-Russell is an associate with the Corporate/Securities/Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Team in the Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Group. She has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, corporate finance and securities related transactions, with a special emphasis on debt and related transactions. She manages all aspects of deals from inception to completion for her clients, and advises them on various corporate and federal securities laws issues. Additionally, she drafts registration statements, annual reports, prospectuses and proxy statements in connection with corporate governance and disclosure.
Ms. Russell earned her Juris Doctorate cum laude from Southern University Law Center in 2003. She served on the Student Bar Association as President of the Senior Class, and was Vice Chairman of Moot Court. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Political Science from Howard University in 2000, and was named a Patricia Roberts Harris Fellow.
