Ms. Tiller is the founder of Allient Advisors, LLC, which provides a variety of services to nonprofits and mission-driven enterprises. Through her work with Allient, Ms. Tiller focuses on identifying potential funders, grant writing, capital campaigns and strategic planning. Ms. Tiller is also a Principal in The Berger Company and oversees corporate management and a wide array of the company’s assets. Previously, she practiced law with the Financial Institutions Group of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, and Flom, L.L.P. and was the Gulf Coast Recovery Project Director and Program Director at Appleseed, a nationally-based non-profit legal organization.
Ms. Tiller received both her Bachelor of Arts and law degrees from the University of Virginia. In addition to serving as chair of Downtown Development District, Ms. Tiller serves on the executive committee of the boards of Louisiana Appleseed and The Audubon Institute. She also serves on the board of the Louisiana Children’s Museum. She has previously served on the boards of The NOCCA Institute, Hands On New Orleans and the Jefferson Trust at the University of Virginia. A native of New Orleans, she resides there with her family.
