In December 2006, after 23 years in the hospitality industry in New Orleans, Anthony Carter came on board at the DDD as the Director of Finance and Administration.
Mr. Carter graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1998, and passed the Certified Public Accountants exam the same year. He was an adjunct instructor of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Accounting at UNO’s Lester E. Kabacoff School of Hotel Restaurant and Tourism Administration. He is active in the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals, Knights of Peter Claver and Archdiocese of New Orleans Office of Black Catholic Ministries. Anthony serves on the Boards of Choice Foundation Charter Schools, Committee for a Better New Orleans and Lafayette Square Conservancy.
Mr. Carter and his wife, the former Madeline Ann Davis, have four daughters and four grandchildren.
