The DDD would like to congratulate former DDD Public Safety Ranger Michael Devizen, a graduate of the NOPD Class 177. Devizen worked as a Ranger for nearly two years before joining the New Orleans Police Department’s Training Academy. We wish him the best!
Since the beginning of the DDD Public Safety Ranger Program, there have been many Rangers who have moved on to law enforcement agencies including the NOPD, Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office and Kenner Police Department and we are very proud of their service to Downtown and commitment to public safety. Downtown NOLA is one of the safest neighborhoods in New Orleans, thanks in part to the DDD’s robust Public Safety program, including enhanced policing, rangers, private security and the efforts of our citizens.
